JEAN-FRANCOIS BALADI

MARKET ACCESS EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL
Jean-Francois Baladi brings more than 30 years of experience in industry and research in the fields of health economics, market access, pricing and outcome research. He is currently working as a consultant assisting Pharma and Biotech on those aspects. His experience was acquired mostly with pharmaceutical companies – at Novartis Canada and at Novartis Oncology Japan, where he was responsible for the market access function, at Novartis Oncology where he was the global head of these functions, and then with Ipsen Pharma where he built and then headed the market access function for their Intercontinental Region spanning Asia, Middle East, and Latin America. His work spanned over several roles, at the local, regional and global levels, and across several geographies providing him a broad perspective of the those functions within various health care systems and what it takes to be successful.

Through the development of adequate access strategies, the use of sound research methods, the building of efficient teams, and the development of trustworthy relationships with external stakeholders, his work contributed to the successful launch of several products locally and internationally.

Jean-Francois received his BA in Economics from the American University in Beirut and holds an MBA from Concordia University in Montreal (Canada). He published a number of papers in peer-reviewed publications on pharmaco-economics guidelines, Quality of life research, patient reported outcomes and various economic evaluations of pharmaceutical products. He is currently based in New Jersey, USA.
